Field Trip Highlights
A huge thank you to our incredible parent volunteers for helping to chaperone our recent field trips. Safety is our number one priority on these trips, and we're so glad we had extra adults to keep everyone safe.
And to our awesome students: you guys are rock stars! Your behavior during our outings has been exemplary. We've seen responsible and respectful attitudes as you've explored nature and learned about the world around us. Keep making us proud!
Walking field trips can only happen with great volunteers, great students, and some incredible natural spaces right in our backyard. What fun to explore them together. Here are some photos of the middle school river field trip and the elementary farm field trip. Nature is a wonderful learning adventure!

Supporting Your Student Through State Testing
As state testing season comes to a close, it's important to remember that these tests are just one piece of the puzzle when it comes to measuring your child's academic journey. While they provide valuable insight into certain areas of learning, they don't capture the full scope of your child's growth and potential.
We want to reassure you that here at SVLA, we understand and appreciate the hard work and dedication it takes to endure this testing season. Regardless of the results, we want you to know that we are immensely proud of each and every student for their efforts and perseverance.
It's okay if your child found certain sections challenging or didn't perform as well as they had hoped. What matters most is the progress they've made throughout the school year, the skills they've developed, and the knowledge they've gained.
These are the true measures of success, and we celebrate each step of their journey with pride. So let's take a moment to recognize and applaud the growth and resilience of our students. They've shown courage and commitment, and that's something to be celebrated.
Thank you for your continued support and encouragement as we partner with you on your child's educational path.
Talent Show
Attention all students! Are you ready to shine? It's time to dust off your dancing shoes, warm up those vocal cords, and unleash your inner star because SVLA's Talent Show is just around the corner!

Summer Bingo
As the school year draws to a close, our school counselor, Mrs. Puzankov has created a special summer initiative designed to keep students actively engaged in our community with Summer Bingo!
Students and families can explore new activities, engage with the community, and promote social connections outside of the traditional classroom setting.
Here's how it works:
Check out the Summer Bingo Card filled with a variety of exciting challenges and activities.
Complete your Bingo Squares! Throughout the summer, challenge yourself to complete as many bingo squares as possible.
Capture Your Journey: Document your summer adventures and accomplishments as you complete each bingo square. Share photos, videos, or write stories to inspire each other!
Win Prizes: At the end of the summer, we'll celebrate everyone's achievements and participation with REACH ticket prizes for students who get a BINGO or blackout!
Participation is voluntary, but Mrs. Puzankov would like to encourage all students and families to join in on the fun. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to her.
