Lovin Elementary Parent News letter
Week of August 26-30
A Note from the Principal
Dear Lovin Elementary families,
As we approach the final week of August, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible start we've had to the school year. It's been wonderful to see our students settling into their routines, embracing new challenges, and building strong connections with their teachers and classmates. Your support has been instrumental in making this transition smooth and successful.
In the coming days, we will continue to focus on fostering a positive and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive. Please keep an eye out for important updates from your child's teacher, as well as information about upcoming events and activities that will enrich your child's school experience.
Thank you for being such an integral part of our school community. Together, we are laying the foundation for a fantastic year ahead!
Educationally yours,
Kevin Payne

PBIS
We are a proud PBIS school! As Lovin Tigers, we use our five TIGER traits to reinforce schoolwide expectations for the students throughout the school year. Our TIGER traits are trust, integrity, growth, effort, and respect. These TIGER traits are part of our culture, in all areas of our school, and should be part of our daily routine for each and every student and staff member.
As a parent, you are also an integral part of creating and maintaining this culture in our school community as you work with your child and their teacher to teach and reinforce our TIGER traits. We strive to reinforce positive behavior as part of our school culture by recognizing those students that are meeting our expectations of excellence. We use a TIGER token system using the PBIS Rewards app to acknowledge positive behavior. When a student earns a TIGER token (or point in the app), it is directly linked to a specific behavior and TIGER trait. Students can use the tokens they earn to “purchase” a reward from our student reward menu.
Check out the next Paw Print for more information about our student reward menu!
