WT Page Principal's Message
Dear Page Families,
Here are the weekly updates and information.
1. Open House is Monday, November 11th - During Open House, you are invited to shadow your child during select time slots. This year caregivers will need to pre-register for a time slot. The pre-registration link with the time slots will be sent out per grade level. Please visit the William Tyler Page Website to Register for a slot - https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/schools/pagees/. **Note 5th Grade English Academy Open House will be held on Wednesday, November 13th**
Registration closes on Sunday, November 10th at 11:59 PM
During Open House Page there will be a greeting table in the main lobby where your registration will be verified and caregivers will be given a visitor badge that must be visible on you during the time you are in the building.
Please remember that you will be in the classroom as an observer. (NO PHOTOS or VIDEOS). If there is a further conversation you would like to have with your child’s teacher, contact them to set up a phone conference or meeting for a later date and time. Remember parent conferences are being held during the month of November.
2. Update - New Bus Routes for Immersion Buses - All of the Immersion morning bus route numbers have changed and some additional buses have been added to the morning routes. The afternoon bus routes are remaining the same, except bus route 7701 - which is now 6801 in the AM and PM. Please see the Immersion bus stops and new route numbers linked here: DOT Page Immersion.pdf. There is also a chart below.
3. New Bookfair Company - Literati Books - The PTA Page Book Fair will held Monday, November 11 - November 16th. The Literati Book Fair will be held in-person at the Page Media Center and online.

4. Reminder - Join the WT Page Community for International Heritage Night - Thursday, November 14th - 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM Come for an evening of fun and learning that celebrates the culture and heritage of our families! Bring a food item for a potluck, walk in the anticipated fashion show, stop by the Scholastic Book Fair, get your family portraits taken and learn from our partners: the students at local high schools and universities! Social Studies Team Hosting Curriculum Night Webinars
- The MCPS Social Studies team is hosting a series of Curriculum Night webinars for families to learn more about how social studies is taught in MCPS and how its curricula in kindergarten through 11th grade incorporate the history of various ethnic and cultural groups. The webinars will be held from 6:30–7:30 p.m. on the following dates:

Call for Silent Auction Items!
Do you own or work for a business that takes supporting the community seriously? Does the thought of showing off your product or services to the William Tyler Page community sound appealing?
The WT Page PTA is gearing up for our 2025 Silent Auction and we need your support! Please consider a donation of goods, services, or experiences to help us raise money for our kids. All proceeds from the auction directly benefit our students, providing everything from classroom supplies, to technology upgrades, to extracurricular activities and special events.
Every contribution, big or small, makes a significant impact on our school community. If you are interested in donating, email fundraising@wtpagepta.org by January 15, 2025 to coordinate a convenient pickup or drop-off.

Teachers Lounge Snack Donation
- While our beloved teachers are busy raising the bar for our kiddos, we are going to set a different "BAR" for them daily to say "Thank YOU" for all their hard work. If you would like to drop-off snacks, please leave them in the Front Office and let the staff know that the items are for the Snack Pantry. This is an ongoing effort and will seek support for the remainder of the school year. If you would like to contribute to helping make this happen click on a slot and sign up.
