Greetings TTVA,

Thank you all for your patience and persistence as we worked through the district filter issues today. We believe that everything has been resolved. If you have not restarted your Chromebook since 11:00 AM today, please do so. The restart will refresh the filter settings, and you should then have access to live classes and any other district sites that were blocked. If you are still having issues on Thursday, please reach out to me directly. I will work to get the issue resolved.

It was wonderful to see so many students online and engaged on the first day. I am looking forward to visiting more classrooms this week to see how everyone is getting back into their school routine. Be sure to add our Back-to-School Night to your calendar for September 17. You’ll get the chance to meet your teachers and staff in person and pick up some additional supplies for the semester. We are excited to work with you this year.

Back-to-school night is an opportunity for all students and their families to speak with teachers and TTVA staff. Teachers will also distribute class-specific supplies such as painting and science kits and be available to answer questions. Join us Tuesday, September 17 from 5:30-7:30pm at the TTSD Training Center.

October 9 - No School, Licensed and Classified Planning Day

Picture day is coming up on September 27th from 10:30am to 1pm at the TTSD Training Center. Students and staff will be able to get their pictures taken and their school IDs printed at this time.

Youth Creative Labs provides a variety of programs for children in Preschool through 8th grade, including STEM, Art, Music, LEGO, 2D Animation, 3D Animation, Illustration, LEGO Robotics, and Community Classes. For additional information, check out their website.

Students are expected to attend their required live class sessions. This is the best way to ensure you get daily attendance. At TTVA we record when students are present, not when they are absent. Students who have not had contact with a teacher will be part of the robocall each afternoon. Please make sure your students are attending class and staying in contact with their teachers. If you student is ill or will miss class please follow the process below to report and absence.

Reporting Absences

Parents/Guardians must call the attendance office to report a student's absence
