A NOTE FROM MR. CLINE
Dear Charger Family,
We cannot thank each of you enough (parents and students) for making our first week of school nothing short of amazing. Our students have jumped in after summer break and quickly engaged in their classes as active learners! This is exactly what we expect from our Charger family and we appreciate all of you for being supportive and active in making this a reality to kick off the 24-25 academic year.
As we look to showcase our students and staff, please follow us on Instagram:
@cmvhschargers
It is of paramount importance that we maximize instructional time and student engagement at CMVS. In light of that, we have explicated our attendance policy which can be reviewed below. Students must arrive at synchronous sessions on time. Beginning on Tuesday, September 3rd, students will not be permitted into class if they are ten minutes late or later as it is a disruption to the learning and halts the process of instruction for the teacher. Thank you for supporting your student’s success with this.
We did an outstanding job with our testing program last year and we look to do even better this year. Please review the required in-person testing schedule below so that you can plan ahead. These tests are required of all students and inform instruction to best meet the individual learning needs of every student.
Our seniors earned a huge sum of scholarship money last year and we know this year’s class of 2025 is poised to do the same. Please encourage your senior to check out the scholarship opportunities and to work with their counselor and teachers to take advantage of these.
Please enjoy the long weekend and rest and thank your Charger for a great start to school. We are going to have the best year ever!
John

CMVS ATTENDANCE & TARDY POLICIES
Starting Tuesday, September 3, we will begin implementing our tardy policy as well as our standard attendance policy in regards to tech concerns. This policy will help to minimize instructional disruptions for all students. Please review the tardy policy below as it is important to note that any student who is over ten minutes late will not be admitted and will be counted absent for the period.
If your student has a tech concern or issue hindering them from attending class or submitting work, please click this link for next steps and guidance.
