Kindergarten Families: Important Dates for 2024
Tuesday, July 23, 2024 Kindergarten Round-Up & Orientation
Kindergarten Round Up is a valuable, mandatory event for kindergarten students. Kindergarten teachers will work with the students to assess their basic letter knowledge and number sense. This will not determine your child’s eligibility to attend NP3 Elementary, but will allow teachers to familiarize what your child already knows, and guide our teaching! It will also give teachers, parents, and students the opportunity to meet each other.
Parents will receive kindergarten orientation information while your student is with the Kindergarten teachers and aides. Students will come to campus during their assigned time. Your student's assigned time will vary depending on their last name:
- Last names A - D - 9:00 AM
- Last names E - L - 10:00 AM
- Last names M - R - 11:00 AM
- Last names S - Z - 12:00 PM
If your child cannot attend on this day, please contact the front office to let us know so that we can reschedule before school starts. Kindergarten Round Up will take place at NP3 Elementary School - 3800 Del Paso Road, Sacramento, CA 95834. Please park in the front parking lot.
Wednesday, July 31, 2024, 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM, Meet the Teacher/Back to School Night
This is an open house style, come anytime between 5:00 PM and 6:30 PM. This is your opportunity to check out your student's classroom, meet your teacher, and learn about the upcoming school year.
We encourage families to park at Blackbird Park and walk through the back gate to access the school. Directions to Blackbird Park: Google Maps
