Parent/Teacher Conferences: Oct. 21-25
Conferences are a critical part of your child's education. This is purposeful time set aside to discuss how we can best partner with you as we celebrate successes, talk about struggles, and brainstorm strategies. Your student's education and bright future involve all of us working collaboratively.
Conference Timeline
- Monday, Sept. 23rd: Conference Letters sent home. This letter will be used to assist your teacher with scheduling. Please return these completed letters promptly.
- Monday, Oct. 7th: Conference forms with scheduled times sent home.
- Oct. 21-25th: Conference Week. Dismissal is at 12pm.

Information...
- Flyers and envelopes will be sent home one week prior to picture day.
- Online orders will open 2 weeks prior to picture day.
- If your student is absent on Picture Day, their picture WILL BE taken on Tuesday, 11/26/2024. They will not be able to have retakes. If you miss both picture days, have no fear! We will be offering Spring Pictures!
- Unfortunately, we are unable give families scheduled times for pictures due to a fluctuating schedule.

A note from our PTA...
We are trying to reach our goal of achieving 100% active membership from our RRE staff AND families! With 100%, we are eligible for certain grants and awards that directly have a positive impact on our school.
For the month of September, we want to challenge each GRADE/CLASS to see who can get the most families signed up as active PTA members! Membership can be completed on the flyers being sent home or online at: https://rockyridgepta.givebacks.com/store/items/1046965 . Paper memberships should be placed with cash/check in an envelope and turned into the office.
Winning Grade: A $25 Amazon gift card will go to each teacher of the grade-level team that has ALL TEACHERS SIGN UP! If there is a tie... the first grade level to complete the tasks will win!
Winning Class: The class with the most memberships will win a Class Favorite Candy Party!
Can you only sign up during this competition? No! You can sign up ANYTIME! Memberships are valid from the day of purchase to June 30th of the current school year.

HIV/AIDS Curriculum & Comprehension Health
*** ONLY for GRADES 5-12: HIV/AIDS Curriculum ***
The purpose of this preview is to allow all parents and guardians to learn about and review the curriculum which will be given to students as part of the HIV/AIDS Prevention education later this year. This preview is required of the District as part of the AIDS Omnibus Act.
Note: Attending a parent preview is required in order to opt your student(s) out of the curriculum. You only need to attend if you would like to view the curriculum for yourself or if you are interested in opting your student(s) out of the curriculum. This needs to be completed every school year.

For GRADES K-12: Comprehensive Sexual Health
Comprehensive Sexual Health curriculum can be opted out of by filling out THIS FORM. This form must also be completed on a yearly basis.

Free meals at our schools depends on YOU!
ALL Bethel School District families must complete the Child Nutrition Eligibility and Education Benefit Application (CNEEB) this year. Completing this form also ensures that your student’s school will continue to receive the full amount of federal and state funding available.
By submitting this application, households may qualify for:
- Summer 2025 EBT benefits
Reduced fees for other programs and activities
You must check YES! Please share my child’s income eligibility for each program you wish to receive discounts for:
- ASB Fees (ASB Cards, events & athletic entrance fees)
- Course Fees (AP tests, credit retrieval and instrument rental)
- Athletics fees
- iPad Coverage
- If a household’s income places students in the free or reduced-price meal eligibility category, fees will be adjusted accordingly in the district on-line payment system. NOTE: The application must be completed 2-4 days BEFORE paying for your fees to give the systems time to make appropriate pricing adjustments.
