

Before- & After-School Information
2025-2026 School Year
Glen Ellyn School District 41 is pleased to continue partnering with the B.R. Ryall YMCA and the Glen Ellyn Park District to provide before- and after-school programs at each of the district’s elementary schools and the new Kindergarten Center next school year.
“These programs provide families a convenient, safe, and enriching option for students beyond the regular school day in a familiar environment,” said District 41 Superintendent Dr. Jeff McHugh. “We are thrilled to work with the B.R. Ryall YMCA and the Glen Ellyn Park District to bring these valuable services to our families.”

Note: Half-day kindergarten before- and after-school programs will be offered in the morning only for a.m. kindergarten and in the afternoon only for p.m. kindergarten.
The B.R. Ryall YMCA Safe ‘n Sound Program will be offered starting at 6:30 a.m. and will close at 6 p.m. at the following locations:
Abraham Lincoln School
Benjamin Franklin School
Forest Glen School
To register for the B.R. Ryall YMCA Safe ‘n Sound programs, please visit the programs page HERE. Registration for Abraham Lincoln and Benjamin Franklin School is currently open. Registration for Forest Glen School will open on Monday, March 24 at 6 a.m. If you have any questions about this program, please contact Jim Powers at jpowers@ryallymca.org.
NOTE: Additionally, the YMCA still has space in Kindergarten Round Up program offered at the Y, which supplements the second part of the school day for half-day kindergarten students.
The Glen Ellyn Park District Adventure Time Program will be offered starting at 7 a.m. and will close at 6 p.m. at the following locations:
- Churchill School
- Kindergarten Center
The Glen Ellyn Park District will begin online registration for the 2025-2026 Adventure Time on Saturday, May 3. Registration for Adventure Time can be completed online at gepark.org/register or in person at the Spring Avenue Recreation Center, Main Street Recreation Center, or Ackerman Sports & Fitness Center.
