The Story...
Many moons ago in a far-off place, Queen Aggravain decreed no couples could marry until her son, Prince Dauntless, found a bride. Princesses came from far and wide to win the hand of the prince, but none could pass the impossible tests given to them by the Queen. That is, until the “shy” swamp princess, Winnifred the Woebegone, showed up. Would she be able to pass the Sensitivity Test, marry her prince and help Lady Larken and Sir Harry to the altar? Carried on a wave of wonderful songs, by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic and melodic, this rollicking spin on the classic tale The Princess and the Pea provides some side-splitting shenanigans.
For after all, a princess is a delicate thing.

Turkey and Pie...in the Face?!?...Oh My!
This year, multiple elementary buildings across the district held their own versions of a Turkey Trot. Most events were in support of our generous parent/teacher organizations. One included pie throwing, another a turkey driven John Deere, and a third a holiday version of Would You Rather?.
ALL included FUN!
Thank you to Mrs. Seroski, Ms. Benedetto, and Ms. Denicola for their help with photos!
NHUF collected food goods for Preston's Pantry as part of their Turkey Trot!
Some of their teachers received a little "pie in the face" action, too.

Student Representative Report
NOTE: Liliana was unable to attend this meeting; therefore, Alison delivered the full report.
Liliana: Good evening board members and meeting attendees! As we are headed into the holiday
season, we wanted to bring some highlights from both the high school and Colebrookdale
Elementary.
Alison: To recap the annual powder puff game that took place on October 29th, we’d like to
announce that if anyone has not already heard, the seniors won! Although that happens almost
every year I was honored to play on the junior team along with many of my class members and it
was an amazing experience to say the least. I personally don't have much experience in football and
it was both a great learning experience and showing off school spirit. We look forward to games to
come.
Liliana: We would like to take a second to congratulate the many sports accomplishments of our
amazing BASH athletes! Our Field hockey team was the 2024 PAC Champions, and continued on to
Districts, ending their season in states! We are so proud of their incredible performance. We would
also like to congratulate Aiden Voth, who won PACS and qualified for states, as well as Sam
Bradford, Eva Montayne, and Azlyn Ramus for their PAC Cross Country performances. In golf news,
BASH Senior Chase Dillman competed in the 2024 PIAA Tournament. We look forward to seeing
what the winter season brings for all our athletes.
Alison: After years of work, planning and fundraising, FBLA is ready to dedicate the BASH Veterans'
Memorial! This took place today, November 26th, at 1:30pm, after the half day for our students.
Our veterans are prized members of our community who allow us the opportunities that we have
sitting here today. We thank them for their service and hope that this Memorial in their honor will
celebrate their commitment and sacrifices made for years and generations to come. We would like
to thank Mrs. Miller and Mr. Bleiler for their continued commitment to this project.
Liliana: Our Elementary highlight this month is Colebrookdale Elementary! The end of October was
packed with pumpkin fun for teachers and students thanks to Wendy's Flowers generous donation of
one mini pumpkin for every student! Teachers set up a pumpkin patch outside of the school and
students were able to pick their very own pumpkin to take home. On November 22nd,
Colebrookdale students visited BASH’s Memorial Stadium to celebrate Thanksgiving with a Turkey
Trot. Thank you to Mrs. Mason, Colebrookdale's Principal, for keeping us updated on all their
amazing activities!
Alison: For students, the first quarter being over represents both stress and relief, relief that they
have made it through a fourth of the year already! And possibly a little stress about report cards. As
teachers finalized grades, students were able to reflect on their progress and witness the reward of
their hard work so far this school year. Shortly following the end of the first quarter, parent-teacher
conferences took place so that parents could reflect on their student's progress directly with their
educators to ensure that their kids are thriving in their academic environment.
Liliana: Last week, on November 21st, Impact Club celebrated their fourth annual Impact Day!
BASH Graduate Scott Heydt and his team led over 80 students through team building activities,
small and large group discussions, and action planning during the day. This day was a huge success,
and would not have been possible without the support of BASH Administration and Mrs. Bergeyova.
Alison: On November 22nd, 23rd, and 24th, the Drama Club performed their 2024 play, Alice in
Wonderland, which follows the story of Alice, who is searching for a way home after falling down a
rabbit hole. On her journey, Alice meets several creatures, including the Mad Hatter, the Rabbit, and
the Cheshire Cat. I was able to attend the performance, and was so impressed with the hard work of
the director, cast, and stage crew!
Liliana: We look forward to highlighting the accomplishments and dedication of our students, staff,
and schools in next month’s update. Thank you all for listening, have a great rest of your evening
