February 28th, 2025
Good afternoon Students and Families,
As was shared a few weeks ago, we are now in Maryland State Testing season. Next week, our eighth grade students will be completing the Maryland Integrated Science Assessments (MISA) on the mornings of Tuesday, March 4th and Wednesday, March 5th.
To ensure their best performance, it is important that students get a good night's sleep, arrive to school well-rested and on time, and avoid scheduling appointments during these dates. Also, students will need to bring their charged FCPS Chromebooks & corded headphones for use during this assessment. If you have any questions or concerns about the testing process, please don't hesitate to contact Mr. Hinson at joseph.hinson@fcps.org.
Thank you for your attention this important information and for supporting your childβs success throughout the testing season.
Mr. Kibler
