Bus Information
School Bus Signup is Required
To guarantee bus transportation for your student, families must complete the annual verification process each year. To guarantee bus transportation for your student, families must have completed the annual verification process by July 18, 2024. Transportation signup is a part of annual verification. (See information above)
Student bus stop assignments, and pickup and drop-off times, will be available approximately one week before school starts through Infinite Campus on August 14. Families should check pickup and drop-off times frequently during the first few weeks of school, since routes are subject to change as student enrollment continues. Please allow 10 minutes before and after your scheduled pickup time to account for traffic and other delays.
Lindbergh Schools partners with First Student to provide transportation for eligible students living within district boundaries in a safe, economic and efficient manner. Student ridership and seating capacity is monitored closely to create the most efficient routes to serve our students.
Transportation To and From School
Eligible Students:
Elementary school students who live more than one half mile from school.
Middle and high school students who live more than one mile from school.
Students who ride regularly, at least once a week.
Non Eligible Students:
Students who attend a school located outside of their attendance zone.
Students who are transported by Special School District (SSD).
Students who only need transportation for special program shuttles during the school day.
Considerations are made when there are no safe walk-to-school zones and hazards, and all routes must be within a student’s school attendance zone. In addition, students will not be permitted to ride any bus except the one to which they are assigned.
Open House-Wednesday-August 14-Geared for Parents
Please mark your calendars for our middle school Open House for parents and guardians. This year, we have planned a new format for our Open House with the focus on engaging parents and guardians. We believe that with our 6th Grade Orientation Day and times for 7th & 8th graders to walk their new schedules, along with a well-designed first week of Launch Days, students have several opportunities to successfully transtion to the new school year.
This year after gathering feedback from our building leadership team and parents, we have designed a new Open House format to incorporate a more robust evening to engage parents and guardians.
This year, parents and guardians will be able to:
- Follow a schedule to meet core teachers and PE teachers.
- Attend a presentation to hear from our electives team.
- Drop off important information to Nurse Illig.
Open House is Wednesday, Aug 14, 2024, from 5-7 PM
Doors open at 4:50
Reminders from Nurse Illig
REMINDERS FROM THE NURSE'S OFFICE
Parents of incoming 7th grade students:
Physical Exams are requested upon entering 7th grade to ensure your child is on target with the State of Missouri Immunization Requirements for school attendance. Please submit a copy of the updated immunization record with the physician's PE form.
Parents of incoming 8th grade students:
The State of Missouri Immunization requirement for 8th grade entry is that students receive both the Meningococcal (MCV) and Tdap vaccine. Parents of incoming 8th graders with no documentation of having received these vaccinations have been contacted. I must receive documentation before the first day of school, Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Missouri State Law requires us to exclude all students in noncompliance at that time.
Please scan & email or fax immunization/PE documents to: millig@lindberghschools.ws or fax #314-729-2422.

Technology Fee Information
If you have a student in grades 4-12, please check your email for a message from Lindbergh Schools Technology Department regarding enrolling in Technology Accident and Loss Protection.
As a district, we will help students learn how to protect their devices. However, we are realistic that accidents happen. To protect families from costly repairs or loss, Lindbergh Schools offers accident and loss protection for our schools’ blended learning devices for students in grades 4-12 who take devices home.
Please review the Blended Learning Technology Handbook for more details.
Students who have not enrolled annually in our accident and loss protection plan will be charged the full cost of repairs or loss.
Student Schedules
Student schedules and teacher assignments are visible in the Infinite Campus Portal. Please note that student class assignments and schedules are subject to change through the start of the school year. Please check your student’s information on the Infinite Campus Portal prior to the first day of school for final class assignments and schedules.
Students, please note that we plan to have Launch Day activities that will include steps for students to log in to Infinite Campus. You may be able to see your schedule, but please note that there could be slight changes up unitl the first day of school.
For our 6th grade students, we will have a copy of your schedule printed for you on August 12 for our orientation day when you arrive.
Finally, please note that our administrators, counselors and staff have worked hard this summer and in the spring to develop our schedules and programming. Please note that we do not honor requests to change teams. Should you see a major error in your schedule, please email your grade level counselor.
Bell Schedule
Here are key points to remember about the middle school schedule:
Give yourself some extra time in the morning the first week. Consider the later time and potential traffic in your commute.
Students may arrive and enter the building at 7:35 AM. If they arrive before 7:45 AM, students must report to the cafeteria.
Buses will be dropping off after the high school in the morning and also arriving at dismissal after picking up high school students. Note that we may need to dismiss by intercom the first week.
