HHS Welcomes You Back to the Nest

Welcome back to school HAWKS!

When you get into ARBITER you can sign your student(s) for all activities they plan to be involved in for the year. You don't have to pay for all of them at once, but the sign up process can be taken care of.

You'll also have access to insurance and physical information that you'll need.

HHS will be moving to a seven period day every day. There are a number of reasons for this change beginning with the importance of daily student teacher contact. The bell schedule will be available online soon and will be further discussed at the OPEN HOUSE. The start and end times of school WILL NOT CHANGE.

For the first day of school ensure that your student(s) come with basic supplies such as pens/pencils, paper, a binder etc. They may need more specific supplies as requested by individual teachers in the first week. Please let us know if we can assist in getting the necessary items.

Our open house will be held on the 21st of August. This is a change in tradition but fits our needs as a school really well. We expect that the majority of our students will be enrolled and have necessary schedule changes made by that time. We are also much less likely to run into conflicting dates for other middle and elementary schools.

CEP (Community Eligibility Provision) is a federally funded program that allows us to provide free meals for 100% of our student body and eliminates the process of collecting household applications to determine eligibility.

Details about the program will be provided at the OPEN HOUSE on the 21st of August.
