As 2019 closes, we are grateful for all of our families and supporters of St. Mary School. We had a great end of the school year this week with our Academic Challenge team winning 4-7 rounds in the Copley Tournament. Our Boy's Basketball Team played a hard game against Edgewood this week winning both the 7th and 8th grade games. All the tough conditioning payed off and they were able to play strong until the end. We finished our week with the Spelling Bee. Zach George will represent us again in the Wayne County Bee.

Basketball Practice: We will have Basketball Practice on Thursday, December 26th from 4-5:30pm. Our tournament games are Friday, December 27th at 9:15am and 3:00pm.

We will see you again on Monday, January 6th, 2020. MAP testing will begin that week and with all of our rest we are hopeful that are students "ROCK" on the tests. Have a blessed Winter break and safe travels to everyone visiting family and friends or vacationing throughout this Winter break.

Our students in Seventh and Eighth Grade visited Unlocked: Wooster Escape Room this week. Although both groups did not beat the clock, Seventh grade was minutes away from solving their puzzle. It was a fun event and you really needed to work as a team to solve all the puzzles and clues.

Third grade students enjoyed a stroll down memory lane as they helped current Kindergarten on their Christmas Words Scavenger Hunt. Third Grade students were able to scribe the Nativity Story as dictated to them by their Kindergarten partners. We definitely have some future leaders and teachers in the group.
