PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Thank you to everyone who was able to support the Bath Area Food Bank by participating in our canned food drive. We collected a staggering 586 cans, shattering our previous record. After several weeks of campaigning and voting, the mock election for the best Maine icon has completed. The winner of this year’s FMS mock election is (drum roll), BIW.
Our next challenge, Sticking Together, is off to a great start. Students are being recognized daily for behaviors that exemplify things like team work, offering and giving help when needed, solving a problem together, positive attitude that impacts others, inclusion, cleaning up/taking care of community space, sportsmanship, along with many others. They are earning tokens for these behaviors which will be exchanged for stickers that will complete a schoolwide mosaic. The other component to this challenge is the Duct Tape Competition. This portion is a fundraiser for the Bath Elementary PTA. Students can donate money and for every $1 donation, they will receive 1 foot of duct tape. At a special assembly on November 26th, the students will use their duct tape to stick me to the wall!
