Family Update
November 3, 2024
Greetings, Families,
We hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and remembered to FALL BACK. It will definitely take a little adjustment time on our end with these dark early nights. Several events coming up, so please be sure to check out fliers below and RSVP if you are able to attend.
For any school / family events, if transportation is a barrier, please reach out to David Rhoades, Community School Advisor, drrhoades@ccps.org.
As you are aware, schools will be closed on Tuesday due to Election Day. Don't forget to vote!
Changes in Dismissal?
If your child is to have a change in dismissal, please email your child's teacher(s) directly and also copy our front office team at crdoyle@ccps.org, jlboyer@ccps.org, and caopp@ccps.org to ensure the message is received. As always, the earlier the notice, the better. Thank you!
Lost and Found
The cold weather is quickly approaching which means...Lost Jackets/Sweatshirts Season! We have accrued many lost & found items already. We request to please remember to write your children’s names inside of their outerwear, so found belongings can make their way back to the owner. This also includes lunch boxes & water bottles/tumblers.
It typically takes a day or two for lost items to make their way to the lost & found rack. Items may be left outside, or in another classroom which are not located until the day ends. We have a clothing rack, you are more than welcome to look through anytime.
We do our best to make sure all of our students hang onto their things. Thank you for understanding as we all work together to make sure your child’s things get returned as soon as possible.
From Cecil County Public Schools:
If your child previously received Medicaid benefits please remember that there is no longer an automatic renewal. You can find more information on how to renew your child’s benefits HERE.
