********GENERAL INFORMATION********

SCHEDULE CHANGES

SR Only: October 9 is the deadline for seniors to drop a course for Teacher Aide or Part-Time. It is too late to add a new class for the semester. Forms are available HERE or in the Counseling Office. The schedule change deadline for grades 9-11 has passed.

COLLEGE FAIR!

Kansas City National College Fair---All students are invited to attend the college fair on October 22 at the Hy-Vee Arena , 1800 Genessee Street, Kansas City, MO. Go HERE for details!

PATH TO GRADUATION NIGHT

9-11 students and parents! Come learn about the timeline for this years ICAP and Course Selection, Diplomas, MVAs and Schoolinks information. We will have this presentation on October 16th at 5pm and 6pm in the LHS Blackbox.

FINANCIAL AID NIGHT

Senior students and parents! Do you have questions about financial aid?! Come learn from the experts on October 15th! The Educational Opportunity Center will be at LHS with presentations at 5PM and 6PM. Learn all about FAFSA - what’s new, how it can help you, and what you need to know before filling it out.

JUNIOR INFORMATION NIGHT

Junior Students & Parents - On October 30th @ 6:00pm you and your students are invited to join us virtually for our Junior Night! This year we have a guest speaker, Aaron Cook - College Admission Representative, joining us to talk about essential things your student should be focusing on now to get prepared for Senior Year and the College Admission Process. We will also be discussing the new graduation requirements including how to earn the required MVA; Market Value Asset. A zoom link will be emailed out closer to the event date. We hope to see you there!
