Winter message:
The snow is here and it is getting colder outside, this is a reminder to send your students in appropriate gear. If you need help getting gear please reach out to your child's teacher. Students are expected to go outside to a temperature of -10.

ELA
Language: We are working on our language skills using our interactive notebook.
Writing: Practice the RACE strategy. We are completing opinion writing and will be focusing on narrative writing. This will be telling a story of events that possibly happened to them or to someone they know. Our goal is to elaborate our writing, making it longer. Instead of writing just one paragraph we will extend our work to show several paragraphs.
Comprehension: We are beginning unit 2. Technology. Our focus will be to analyze informational texts. We will dive deep into non-fiction informational texts. We will be looking a text features. Our lessons will include social studies.
