Our Vocal students took a trip to the assisted living in Marysville today, to sing for the residents! They did a great job and had a wonderful time visiting with the residents after their performance. It was such a great experience for all involved.

Congratulations to our football team and coaching staff on a fantastic season! We are certainly proud of everything you accomplished this season! You went up against a tough competitor with playoff experience and you represented our school with pride! Now, we set our sights on the remainder to the school year and prepping for the fall!!

Ms. Coleman took our vocal group to assisted living facility in Marysville this week to help the residents and staff bring in the holiday season. The group sang many of the songs they have been working on so far this year. Ms. Coleman reported that the students did a great job and the staff and residents enjoyed their visit!

I have been looking over our December calendar and all I can say is “hang on”!! High school basketball joins our junior high squads with games starting right away the first week we are back. Mixed in is high school scholar’s bowl contests, elementary music program, etc. When we add in family gatherings and church programs the list just becomes larger. Remember – we have 14.5 days of classes before the end of the 2nd nine weeks and first semester!

Since this is a short week for us I am cutting my newsletter down in size! However, on behalf of the staff and students at Valley Heights Jr. – Sr. High School, we would like to wish each and every one of you a Happy Thanksgiving!! We are thankful for your continued support of our Mustangs!!
