It is hard to believe that this is the last full month before the end of the school year! Our staff are planning for the end of the school year with assessments, parties, and prepping for Summer Camp.

Before all that happens, we have many wonderful and exciting things to do in the next few weeks. Starting with "Teacher Appreciation", a time to thank your child's teacher for a wonderful year! Each Wednesday there will be a special surprise treat for our staff. If any parent would like to share a special note to your child' teacher, please pick up an "Apple Award" form that can be found at each site. I have also attached a pdf of the "Apple Award" in this newsletter. Share the award with your site director. We have created a "Sign-up Genus" link to help with donations for the yearly Staff Breakfast on May 7th.

Moving along into May, we will once again watch caterpillars turn into butterflies and release them into our environment. Friday, May 9th, we will offer "Muffins with Mom" at all sites in the AM only. Stay for a few minutes and have a quick treat with your child.

Our Summer Camp contracts and rosters have been processed. We will be sharing summer calendars and other summer information towards the end of the month.

Note that GEARS will be closed on Monday, May 26th for Memorial Day.

Our deadline for our Fall Contracts were April 15th for our internal families. We will now start accepting contracts from the community and to our numerous inquiries from our website.
