WMES Kindergarten Registration

Do you have a rising kindergartener?

Will your child be five years old on or before September 1, 2024?

Starting on Monday, April 8, 2024, online registration will be open for rising kindergarten students for the 2024-2025 school year.

Please follow the steps below to begin the process of registering your child.

Complete the GCPS 2024-2025 Online Registration and upload the required documents. Please click on the blue links below to do this.

Important: You must register for the 2024-2025 school year in order to for your registration to process!

The following paperwork must be uploaded during the GCPS Online Registration:

• Certified copy of child's birth certificate
• Social Security Card
• Proof of Residency - two separate documents are required.
• Choose ONE of the following:
• Current mortgage statement
• Lease/Rental agreement (1st page, 2nd page, and signature only)
• Settlement statement
• Property tax statement
• Security or warranty deed (must provide 2 utility bills with property address)
• AND
• One current utility bill (water or electric) - must include your current address.
• Georgia Certificate of Immunization, Form 3231
• Georgia Vison/Hearing/Dental/Nutrition, Form 3300
• Parent Photo ID

After you have completed the online registration, you will be receiving an email from our Woodward Mill registration office, with more information and a link to select a time for an IN PERSON appointment. During this appointment, your student will also be completing the Kindergarten Readiness Assessment (approximately 30 minutes). We will also double check your online registration to ensure all forms are uploaded.
