It may be COLD outside, but it's always HOT in the BGS Gym. Join us for an evening of fun, tonight, Friday, Jan. 10 at 7 PM for a FREE family fun night as we play Beach Blanket Bingo. Come in your best beachy themed clothing, bring a blanket, and we'll play a few rounds of Bingo so the kids can win fabulous prizes from our PTO Prize Box. See you there!

Who: All BGS students

What: Annual Box Tops Contest

When: Thursday, January 2 thru Friday, February 7th

Where: Your classroom

Why: Raise money for BGS and win a movie and popcorn party for your class

How: Bring in valid (not expired) Box Tops in baggies labeled with your teacher’s name

Check your cupboard for the products with the Box Tops for Education logo. Each Box Tops label earns $0.10 credit for the school. Check the expiration date - we can't redeem expired Box Tops. To find the full list of participating products, check out www.btfe.com.

New this year - Box Tops has gone digital! Now you can use the Box Tops for Education App to scan your receipts to receive credit for the new Scannable Box Tops. You can give credit to your class when you scan receipts by scanning your receipt, then tapping the star icon to enter your "Give credit" memo (enter the name of your teacher).

Happy 2020. While we start a new calendar year, we remain right in the middle of our 2019-2020 academic year. Work and conversations from 2019 continue right into 2020. To that end, I wanted to provide you with five important resources.

The conversations continue at our next Board meeting: Monday, January 6. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. as we swear in our new members and will take place in our “new home” in the Small Cafeteria of BRHS.
