Extended Day
Our extended day program for students failing classes runs every Monday and Tuesday after school until 4:00 pm. A ParentSquare message goes out to parents/guardians of recommended students each week. Students also receive 2 paper reminders. Please let us know if you have any questions.
8th Grade - Scholar Track
On March 12th, Dr Jones from the Indiana Commission for Higher Education will be at Crestview to sign all 8th graders up for their Scholar Track account. This account is a way for counselors to track their high school students as they complete specific tasks that will help prepare them for graduation. This includes applying for some scholarships and grants as well as completing the FAFSA which is now required in their senior year.
Every 8th grader that is at Crestview on that day will have an active account they will be able to use throughout high school.
Any student who is on free/reduced lunch will also agree to the pledge which is the final step in completing the 21st Century Scholars program. Students on free/reduced lunch are now automatically signed up, but they must agree to the pledge to complete the sign-up process. This is the path that will help with their college/post-secondary tuition if they complete the program.

Academic Super Bowl
The Academic Super Bowl teams have been practicing since December in preparations for our first competition, which will be on Wednesday, March 20th, at Paul Harding Middle School, beginning at approximately 5:30 p.m. We will be sending out more information about the competition as the date gets closer. The students received their shirts on Friday, February 23rd, and will need to make sure they wear them during the competition. The theme for this year's competition is "The End of the Millennium: the 1980's and 1990's", so we wanted to have a little fun with the theme and made them look like some of the concert shirts you may have received during that time frame. One of the students told us he thought our shirts were the wrong size because the sleeves didn't go down all the way, but I told him that is the design. Aw, youth! The students have been working tremendously hard for all of us, even though some of the material is very tough this year, and we are hoping that their hard work will be displayed at the conference competition on March 20th.
Recess
Please have your students dress appropriately for the weather. As long as temperatures are above 40 degrees we will be taking students outside for recess.
Transportation Changes
If you have a change of plans for where you student is going after school, please call the office before 2:00 pm to make sure we have time to get the information to your student before the 2:35 pm dismissal.
Transfer Requests
If you live in Huntington County but outside of Crestview district and wish for your student to attend Crestview, you must fill out a new In-District Transfer Form for the 2024-2025 School Year. You must fill one out each year your child attends.
