The Great Rake on Friday, November 8th!

The staff and students at Paonia K-8 School take great pride in our Paonia community. One annual tradition we have is The Great Rake of Town Park! The leaves in Town Park have been accumulating over the past few weeks, and it's time to clean up the park. K-8 students will be going to Town Park during their specials classes on Friday to rake the park.

Parents, we need your help!! Please send in a rake or two for students to use on Friday. You may send your rake to school starting on Thursday morning, and retrieve them on Friday at the end of the day. We will gather rakes in our lobby foyer on Thursday, and in front of the school on Friday. Please help us make this event successful!!!

Our 6th grade students are raising funds for their annual trip to Denver to visit the Museum of Nature and Science as well as the Denver Zoo.

You can support these students by purchasing butterbraids. Click on the link below to visit the online store. You can select a 6th grade student to get credit for your order, and let that student know you ordered from them so they may deliver the butterbraids to you.

Parents, our PPO organizes a snack for school staff every Friday. Parents sign up and bring in treats for roughly 40 staff members on Friday mornings. There are still a few open dates in December. Please offer to help by signing up for one of the available Fridays at this link:
