We’re going to REFLECT about being “PLUGGED IN” and make sure that we’re filling our lives with COMMUNITY, PURPOSE and SERVICE TO OTHERS. The WORLD has never been more CONNECTED, and yet FEELINGS OF ISOLATION and LONELINESS are at an ALL-TIME HIGH. YOU have a PLACE and YOU are ALWAYS welcome in our COMMUNITY!

NATIONAL MEMORIAL DAY CONCERT

America’s National Night of Remembrance, PBS’ National Memorial Day concert, returns live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol for a special 35th anniversary broadcast on Sunday, May 26th, 2024 at 8:00 pm

MEMORIAL DAY SERVICE

Join us MONDAY for the annual MEMORIAL DAY SERVICE. We will GATHER in the BATSTO CHURCH PARKING LOT at 9:30 AM to pay HONOR to those who died during MILITARY SERVICE; those who GAVE ALL. Remember to BRING A CHAIR and BUG SPRAY to this wonderful TRIBUTE EVENT as our LOCAL VFW leads us through a MOMENT OF REFLECTION.

The MULLICA IN THE PINES HISTORICAL SOCIETY will be HOSTING a LUNCH on Monday May 27, 2024 12pm-2pm for MEMORIAL DAY. We will have Hot Dogs, Baked Beans and Mac & Cheese at THE MULLICA IN THE PINES HISTORICAL SOCIETY MUSEUM located on NESCO ROAD - HILDA FRAME SCHOOL HOUSE. All are Welcome. CHURCH VISION MEETING & BREAKFAST

There will be a VISIONARY MEETING of PINELANDS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH next SATURDAY, JUNE 1 in our BATSTO CHURCH BUILDING to plan the FUTURE OF THE CHURCH. We will GATHER for BREAKFAST at 8:30 am / MEETING begins at 9:00 am. Everyone is WELCOME to attend!

FISHING TRIP PLANNED ~ REGISTER NOW!

The PINELANDS UMC FISHING CLUB will be taking their first FISHING TRIP of the season on SATURDAY, JUNE 8TH aboard the DUKE O' FLUKE out of SOMERS POINT. Reservations can be made at dukeofluke.com. COST is $45.00 for adults/$35.00 for kids. KIDS must be ACCOMPANIED by an ADULT. Meet in the PARKING LOT by 7:30 am SHARP!

Duke O' Fluke fishing boat sails from Higbee Avenue in Somers Point, New Jersey. We fish the back bay areas for flounder, bluefish, seabass, and weakfish. Fishing and evening charters available as well as private charters for special events.

BLESSING OF THE RIVER

Join the COMMUNITY for the annual MULLICA RIVER BLESSING on SATURDAY, JUNE 15TH at ST. MARYS IN THE PINES CEMETERY. We will GATHER at 11:00 AM. REVERAND JIM BETZ and FATHER DANTE will be OFFICIATING THE SERVICE. VFW post 5043 will be presenting COLOR GUARD and St. Mary’s of the Pines CHOIR will offer a MUSICAL SELECTION. Plan to come to this WONDERFUL OUTDOOR SERVICE located at the intersection of Jackson / Pleasant Mills Rd.

PRAISE in the PARK ~ GREEN BANK PAVILION

It’s back! We will GATHER outside for a COMBINED WORSHIP SERVICE at the GREEN BANK PAVILLION (River Road, Green Bank) on SUNDAY, JUNE 30 at 10:00 AM. Covered dish LUNCH will follow. Stay tuned for more information on this SPECIAL DAY OF WORSHIP!
