LC PFO Breakfast Club
Hey parents! Are you looking for a way to get involved at LC? One of the easiest ways to make a difference at Lawrence Central is through the LC PFO Breakfast Club.
Breakfast Club is the PFO’s longest-running and most successful fundraiser which depends on volunteers to thrive. Parent volunteers staff the breakfast table in front of the auditorium each morning, selling pre-packaged breakfast items, snacks, juice, and water to students before school begins.
Volunteers are scheduled to work one morning a month (more often if desired) from about 8:00-9:30 a.m. It’s a quick morning that involves setting up the breakfast display, selling to students, putting away and restocking for the next day.
All profits from the breakfast sales help the LC PFO fund student experiences such as Homecoming activities and the Prom, teacher grants that benefit the student educational experience, and hospitality events that show appreciation to our staff. Every purchase at the Breakfast table helps enhance the overall experience for students and staff at Lawrence Central.
It is a fun, fast, and easy way to help the school with a minimal time commitment each month and is something the students really appreciate. Volunteers are scheduled in teams of two and training is provided.
Go to www.tinyurl.com/LCPFOVolunteer to sign up!
Thank you for helping support the LC PFO's ongoing fundraising effort benefitting all students at LC!

Reciprocity for Out of State Schools
The Indiana – Kentucky reciprocity agreement is a four-year agreement (2021-25) that allows students residing in specific border counties to receive in-state tuition at specific institutions.
- Kentucky Reciprocity Map 1: shows the institution with the county of residence from which a student could receive in-state tuition.
- Kentucky Reciprocity Map 2: shows the Indiana and Kentucky counties named in the agreement and the location of the institution.
The Indiana – Ohio reciprocity agreement is a two-year agreement (2023-25) that allows students residing in ANY of the counties named in the agreement to receive in-state tuition at ANY institution named in the agreement.
- IN-OH Reciprocity Institutions Map: shows the counties that a resident of could receive in-state tuition at an institution shown.
Both reciprocity agreements have some exceptions. The reciprocity agreements may be found at this link: https://www.in.gov/che/academic-affairs/interstate-reciprocity/.
Through the Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP), public institutions agree to charge students no more than 150% of the in-state resident tuition rate for selected programs, and private institutions offer a 10% reduction on their tuition. The student would need to enroll as a non-resident student at a participating MSEP campus to receive the discount.
