Berlin Bobcat Beat
November
Greetings from Mrs. G.
Dear Berlin Community,
I want to take a moment to express my deep gratitude for our learning community.
First, I want to thank our teachers and support staff on the completion of a great first three months of school. Each day I see students greeted off the bus, welcomed in the cafeteria by name and given high-fives down the hallways. I’m witnessing learning and growth in and out of our classrooms every day. In our staff meetings and in our team meetings, I’m witness to professional conversations that are student centered and focused on next instructional steps and problem-solving. Our building is kept clean and safe daily by our wonderful maintenance crew and our front office is a place of information and joy, thanks to Doreen and Lori.
I also wanted to thank our Berlin PTNA for their tireless support of our community. Their support at our harvest festival in October, the book fair last week and our luncheon this week was just what we needed! In December, the PTNA will be sponsoring the annual holiday bazaar here at Berlin on December 13. They are looking for donations. Please see the ad attached at the bottom of this letter for more information. The PTNA has recently updated our webpage stop by and check it out www.berlinptna.com. Our next meeting will be on 5 December in the library at 6 PM.
Lastly, I want to thank you all for entrusting the care of your children to us everyday. The joy and learning that we are witness to each day is something really special. Thank you for being a part of our team.
Be Well,
Celia Guggemos

Gifts For Giving Holiday Bazaar
The PTNA sponsored annual Holiday Bazaar is coming up Friday December 13th during school hours. If you are new to BES, the Holiday Bazaar is an event where students come to the gym to choose and wrap FREE gift items to give to their immediate family members for the holidays. Where do all the gifts come from you ask..... donations of course.
So it's time to clean out your closets or shop the sales to help make this event successful!
We are looking for donations of (new/gently used):
Picture frames, Candles, Ornaments, Keychains, Mugs, Older kid/teen items, Dad/brother/male items, gift bags, tissue paper, and reusable shopping bags.
All items should be delivered to the school front office by Wednesday December 11th
We could also use volunteers to help with setup, cleanup, and during the event.

Thank you for helping the PTNA make this another annual success!
