December 15th, 2023 Principal's Message
Hello Blevins Families,
We had another fun week in the December cold! A huge shout out to Mr. Sachtleben's 6th Grade Band and Jazz Band for their outstanding concert. I'd also like to express immense gratitude to the Veliquette family. They provided 300 Crumble Cookies for our Open House attendees on Dec. 7. I can't say enough about you and the rest of the incredible families of our school community. Many attended our SAC/PTO meeting this week. In the meeting, we discussed ways to support and thank our staff as the semester is winding down, as well as Blevins' adoption of Project-Based Learning and district long-range planning. Thanks for the collaboration!
Looking to next week, we will have no Bruin Club. But we'll still have a lot of fun because it is Spirit Week! I can't wait to roll into the holidays with some fun with the students, while finishing up big projects and taking some final tests.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Proudly,
Joe Zappa

On Thursday, December 21st we’ll be hosting a holiday cookie bar for teachers and staff. If you are able to bring in one or two dozen cookies for them to enjoy, we’d appreciate your support! Cookies will need to be dropped off by 9am on December 21st to the Blevins office. Here’s a link to a signup form:
