Do you need to recover attendance hours due to a semester 1 FA? Are you over in absences for semester 2? Do you need assistance with some missing work? Do you need extra help in math or English? If so, please plan to attend Saturday School. Certified teachers will be available to assist you with any needs you may have. Please be sure to bring your charged Chromebook and be prepared to stay for the entire session. You must be present at 8:00 am and stay until noon. You may bring a drink and a snack. Don't miss this chance for extra help and attendance recovery hours!

The South Florence Academic Challenge Team is currently 2-2. They just finished up their home matches and are looking forward to their two remaining away matches and regional tournament at Francis Marion University.

ALA PGS is a weeklong summer program designed to immerse you in a real, functioning
government, in the mythical State of Palmetto. You’ll meet lots of new friends from across the
state, and you may even be eligible for some college scholarships! Be sure to stop by the school counseling office for your application today. Applications are due Friday, February 7th.

The South Florence Symphony Orchestra is thrilled and working hard to prepare for the All-City Orchestra auditions and the exciting concert on February 27 at 7 pm. Our talented students are sharpening their skills in sight reading, intonation, and scales while embracing new challenges. Dr. Arguello is truly enjoying the opportunity to teach the orchestra. As a reminder, students are not allowed to have personal devices in their pockets between the hours of 8:30 and 3:30. Students may not wear Airpods or headphones while in school. We have seen an increase in personal device violations in the past week. Reminder to students that the second incident of personal device violation results in the device remaining in possession of a school administrator until a parent/guardian comes to pick it up.
