October is National Bullying Prevention Month!
A message from our Counselor, Ms. London:
October is National Bullying Prevention Month. We will be focusing on Anti-Bullying education
and messaging in our school. The purpose of this is to bring awareness of, and attention to, the
bullying that exists in schools across our nation.
We will be doing this through various activities such as social emotional learning lessons,
Anti-Bullying Spirit Week, Blue Shirt Day (October 7, 2024) and UNITY Day (October 16, 2024)
by wearing ORANGE and other activities that will strengthen student’s understanding of why it
is important to be an upstander, not a bystander, and that when they see something, they
should say something!

Middle School Night for 5th Grade Students-October 22
New this year, we will be hosting a regional Middle School Night for all of the Elementary schools that feed into Albert Hill Middle and Dogwood Middle. If you have a 5th grader, please plan on attending so you can be informed of your middle school options. ALL are of course welcome!
You should have received one of these fliers in your student's backpack recently... Save it, hang it, scan it! The code links to additional details and more upcoming events, which are updated regularly. Also linked here: https://linktr.ee/williamfoxelementarypta.
Career Day is Coming! We Need Volunteers to Share their Careers!
Caregiver -Teacher Conference Day Scheduled for Nov. 14 from 3:30-5:30
MP1 Report Cards will be sent home on Nov. 11. Elementary Conference time has been scheduled for Thursday, November 14 from 3:30-5:30. Unfortunately, this is not enough time to meet with every caregiver. Teachers will be prioritizing meeting with caregivers of students who are below grade level, or with behavior challenges. Teachers will reach out to caregivers with whom they need to meet. Thank you for partnering with us and making the time to meet with your child's teacher if they are having some challenges.
