HAPPY 4th of JULY!

Can you believe it's already July? We pray that everyone is having a safe and fun summer break and we can't wait to see you back at school!

A few important dates, please join us for Spruce up the School August 3rd from 7am - noon as we get the school ready for another great year!

Then on August 8th join us for Open House from 5pm-8pm. We are holding a special Kindergarten signing at 4pm in the cafeteria.

August 15th is our 1st Day Back in Session! Which is Ms. Tewell and my favorite day as we get to welcome students back into the building!

St. Teresa School is looking for groups/families to volunteer to weed, water, and overall help with the clean up of the back of the school by the Parish Center. The goal is if we all work together and keep up with it monthly then the task will not be so great for a few.

Did you know that St. Teresa received a grant to buy technology and enhance our reading and math curriculum in Kindergarten - 4th grade? That is correct. We will be purchasing all new Chromebooks for the 5th grade class for the 2024-2025 school year.

If you are planning on returning to St. Teresa for the 2024-2025 school year, please send in your registration form asap!

What a beautiful day it was at the National Shine of Our Lady of the Snows as Bishop McGovern welcomed the arrival of the Serra Eucharistic Delegation. It was a powerful day of prayer, reflection, and to be united with other Catholics not only across our Diocese but across the country, allowing us to have a renewed spirit as we walk with Jesus in the Holy Eucharist.

We are excited to announce that the CANTS process has moved to an electronic format. Now when you need a CANTS check or need to update the CANTS check, I will initiate a link via the DCFS portal that will be delivered to your email address. This will come from the email address Dcfs.CFS689BackgroundCheck@illinois.gov. Instructions will be included in the email so that you can verify your information and authorize the request. If you see anything incorrect with what I have included, please let me know before you proceed with the authorization, so that I can correct the information and resend you the link.

We are sorely lacking in sports registrations for this falls sports teams. Of the 174 Kindergarten through 8th students we have received registrations for 53.

If you have not done so already we need your child's registration ASAP.!!!! We need to order soccer and baseball jerseys early July to be sure we have them in time for the start of the season. Currently the only teams with enough kids registered to have a season are the kindergarten co-ed soccer, 3/4 girls soccer and 3/4 boys soccer teams and the Cross Country team. If we don't receive more registrations soon we may need to consider cancelling some teams.
