GMS WEEKLY NEWSLETTER OCTOBER 25, 2024
Good Afternoon Wolf Pack Families,
I can't believe we have already finished 25% of our school year! Today marks the end of the first marking period. Grades will be posted on November 8 and will be available by 5 PM. Parent/Teacher conference information will be sent to families early next week with directions on how to schedule conferences with your student's teachers. Conferences will be held on November 14. We will be offering both in person and virtual conferences in order to accommodate more of our families. We value a strong partnership between parents/guardians and teachers. Parent/Teacher conferences are a great way to discuss your student's strengths and goals for continued growth.
Wising you all a fantastic weekend,
Stuart Riley
Principal, Geisler Middle School

8th Grade Washington, D.C. Trip & Fundraiser
Registration for the 8th grade trip to Washington, D.C. is now moving to our third bus, which means Corporate Travel moved us to a “waitlist” status. We have about 20 seats remaining on the third bus and guaranteed registration will be open until these seats are filled. Click here to join the waitlist and pay the $50 deposit to hold your spot on the trip. Families will be asked to pay the remainder of their deposit once the third bus officially opens.
More trip information and required forms can be found in this newsletter. Email Mr. Yu with any questions you may have at TorryYu@wlcsd.org.

Walled Lake Northern proudly hosts an annual gift drive, supporting a school in need each year. Our community "adopts” children, fulfilling their holiday wishes and essential needs.
Northern students thoughtfully wrap every gift, and in December, our Leadership class personally delivers the gifts to the school, bringing joy directly to the children.
We welcome donations of children's clothing, shoes, boots, and toys. Your support will help us fulfill our mission of bringing joy to children in need this holiday season.
