January Newsletter
Dear CCS Families,
I hope this message finds you well as we welcome our students and staff back from winter break.
We would like to wish you a very Happy New Year! We hope you had a wonderful winter break.
We welcomed our students and staff back today, and there were so many smiles and stories of winter break! As we embark into 2025, we want to share a few reminders to continue a successful school year for your child.
Expectations: This week and into next week, our teachers and staff will be sharing reminders of expectations. This is always a nice time to remind our students about using good manners, being kind, showing respect, and demonstrating responsibility.
Pick Up/Drop Off: If you are dropping your child off to school in the morning, we ask that you do not arrive before 8:10 in the morning. When our car line backs up, it impacts traffic on the main road and impacts the arrival of buses. If you have any changes to your child's transportation, please make sure to inform the main office. All changes in transportation are handled in our main office and communicated to the appropriate staff.
Communication: Home-school communication is vital to the success of your child. If you have any questions or need information, please reach out to your child's teacher or the main office staff who will direct your call to the appropriate staff member. We value your support and communication.
Weather: As we move into the winter season, we may experience inclement weather. Please be sure that all of your information in our system is up-to-date so you receive any communications related to delays or closings. Mr. Zylinski sent a communication prior to break that is available below.
Parent/Teacher Conferences: Please note that Parent/Teacher conferences will take place January 29-31. Teachers will send out information regarding signing up for conferences. These days will also be half days and we will dismiss at 12:15 pm. Evening conferences will be held on Thursday, January 30th.
Again, we thank you for your continued support in creating a positive and collaborative learning environment for our students!
With gratitude,
Mrs. Niemiec & Mr. Subokow
