Shuey Source for November
Gotta Learn em' All , 2024 - 2025
π£π¦
Dear Shuey Families,
Happy Fall! The crisp air and vibrant colors of the season bring a sense of warmth and excitement as we settle into this beautiful time of year. With cozy weather upon us and many beloved holidays just around the corner, it's the perfect opportunity for us to reflect on the months ahead and prepare for what's to come.
As we enjoy the festivities of the season, let's not forget that learning remains our top priority. This is a great time to remind our students about the importance of meeting our behavior expectations. We strive for excellence in everything we do, and being respectful, responsible, and kind are core values that help us achieve our best.
In connection with Habit #3, Put First Things First, we encourage our students to prioritize their tasks, focus on what matters most, and make thoughtful decisions. This habit teaches us to manage our time wisely, balancing our responsibilities with the fun of the season. When we put first things first, we set ourselves up for success both inside and outside the classroom.
Thank you for your continued support in fostering a positive, productive environment for our students. Let's embrace the joys of Fall together and keep striving to be our very best!
Warm regards,
Dr. Boeve

Drop-off and Pick-up Safety. Please Be Mindful and Safe
On school days there is No Parking in front of the school; the area designated as a Passenger Loading and Unloading Zone from 7:00-9:00am and 12:00-3:00pm. Please continue to be mindful of this to avoid being cited by law enforcement.
- To ensure your child's safety please do not double park (or stop anywhere in the street) or ask your student to cross the parking lot or walk between cars to get to you. THIS IS NOT SAFE.
- PLEASE use the designated crosswalk in front of the school where our crossing guard is on duty. Often, we see families jaywalking, and stopping traffic on Wells Avenue, which is illegal, obstructs motion traffic, and is not safe. Please take a couple of extra minutes to use the crosswalk.
- PLEASE be courteous do not block our neighbors' driveways. Again, please take the extra time to park and walk
