Progress reports will be available this week. Please make sure you are checking your student’s grades in Parent Portal. This is the last week for football and the beginning of basketball for the girls. The 5th graders will take a band field trip to Sherman this week. Mr. Waters is wanting to let them see the different instruments used in a symphony. This will be a great learning experience for our students to help them get excited about our band program.

This year, THS and TMS have been given the opportunity to implement the DESSA Rating System, which includes a screener (teacher report), a more in-depth evaluation, and a student self-report. This system will better help us understand students' social emotional strengths and needs, as well as provide intervention strategies to support those needs and build on identified strengths.

Next week, THS and TMS students will be asked to complete the self-report. If you have any questions or concerns, or if you would like to opt your student out of the self-report, please contact your school counselor or Mrs.Ball, Director of Curriculum & District Programs. Join TMS cheer for a parents night out. Let the Middle School Cheer Squad and Coaches entertain your kids with a night of pizza, hot chocolate, cookie decorating, games and a movie. Pre-Registration ends November 22nd. You can pay by check or cash in an envelope to Mrs. McCarley at the elementary school or Mrs. Rainey at the Middle School.
