Dear Edgewood Community,

As we conclude the first week of summer break, (can you believe it?) I wanted to make sure that you have information for the 2024-2025 school-year in one place. Here are some important dates:

Summer - The office will be open starting next week on Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm. We will be closed on Friday.

August 19, 2024 - Teacher's return to school for professional development. The office will be closed on this day.

August 21, 2024 - Meet your Teacher Day will be in the morning. More information to follow in the summer.

August 22, 2024 - First Day of School - K4 through 2nd grade will have a 1/2 day; K4 and K5 will start at 8:30 rather than 8:00 am.

September 27th is a PD day for teachers and there will not be school on this day.

October 7, 2024 is GRANDPARENTS DAY!!! We are reinstituting this event and will have more information to follow as we get closer to this event! The college is on break on this day and hope to secure lots of parking for this day!

Christmas break will still be two weeks long and will run from December 23rd through January 3rd. We will start again after break on January 6, 2025. Please try to schedule your trips and time off to fall within this window. The kiddos really do miss a lot of learning when they are gone for extended periods of time.

I will be working all summer but have some time where I will be with other Presidents from Dominican Veritas Ministries in June and some other off campus meetings. If you want to talk with me or want to come into school, simply email me and we can arrange a time when I will be in the office to meet. I am looking forward to meeting more of you this summer!!!
