A Message from Mrs. Lechner and Mrs. Dansberry

Hello WFS Family,

The excitement surrounding Flora and Ulysses continues to grow at West Freehold School! Each morning, students eagerly take on new challenges during announcements, including trivia questions, vocabulary words, and the thrill of identifying our mystery readers. Be sure to check our school webpage for chapter recordings and scavenger hunt clues that will take you all around town in search of Ulysses—an adventure you won’t want to miss!

Adding to the fun, today we welcomed the Harlem Wizards for an action-packed assembly to gear up for their upcoming event on March 21st. This is always a fantastic night filled with energy, laughter, and Freehold Township spirit—all for a great cause!

Wishing you and your families a Happy Valentine’s Day! Thank you for being part of the magic at WFS!

Warm regards,

Mrs. Lechner and Mrs. Dansberry

Outdoor Recess

As the cold weather season is upon us, it's essential for children to dress warmly for outdoor recess. Encouraging students to wear layers, hats, scarves, gloves, and warm coats will help keep them comfortable and safe while they enjoy outdoor activities. It's also a great idea to remind them about wearing proper footwear to prevent slipping and to stay dry in snowy or wet conditions.

Cell Phones, Smart Watches and Electronic Devices

Students are permitted to bring cellular phones to school. Cell phones also shall include all other

electronic devices providing text messaging (Smart Watches) All phones and other electronic devices shall be turned off and placed in lockers or backpacks while the pupil is in school or at a school-sponsored event.

You may review this Board Policy 5516 on our website.
