Real-World BIOLOGY
Memorial High School has partnered with the Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute and has had a representative from BioTrek assisting in Ms. Thomas' Biology classes. This past week, students gave "pitch presentations" on a product designed to solve a current health or environmental issue using lab-grown tissue or cells. Students presented to professionals from BioTrek and the regenerative manufacturing industry, and 5 winners were selected.
Congratulations to Laaiabh Mishall, Eris Monger, Anna Mori-Souleyman, Jenni Mugisha, and Amisha Lama. These students will go on to compete at the state competition, and if they are successful, they could potentially present their product to Dean Kamen.
