The Counseling team at Reagan would like to welcome all of our students and families back for the upcoming school year. We look forward to helping everyone navigate this school year!
Our Mission
The mission of the Ronald Reagan High school counseling program is to provide support and guidance to all students to encourage lifelong learning, post-secondary education, and social and emotional development.

Classroom Guidance
We will visit students through their classes beginning in September. Our first topic will cover Mental Health and Wellness.
Small Group Counseling
Counselors will facilitate small groups with students focusing on a variety of topics to include stress management, anxiety, grief, decision making, planning for next steps, anger management, and self-esteem. Contact Mrs. Cheslock for more information and to particpate. dchesl1@neisd.net

Counseling Updates
- Please encourage your child to scan their Counselor's QR code.
- Counselors are working diligently to address student requests. We thank you for your continued patience.
- Students interested in dropping to a lower level of the same course can request a drop form from their teacher. Once the form has been signed by the parent and returned to the teacher, the counselor can make the change. Please note, there are a few required signatures from school staff as well, so if the changes takes a s day or two, this is why.
- Greenback night is September 17, 2024.
- Senior Parent Night is September 26, 2024.
- Suicide Prevention Week is September 9-13.
Senior Updates
- Senior Night is September 26, 2024 in the auditorium. This event is for both students and parents. Topics include applying to college, FAFSA, graduation requirements, and fun Senior Class events. Jostens will share information and be available for cap and gown orders.
- Updated rank GPA will be on September 6, 2024. This rank GPA will replace the June GPA.
