A message from the principal
WEB day and emergency contact information needed.
Hello Anoka Middle School for the Arts students and families. This is Mr. Hagerty, your principal welcoming you back to school. This will be the first of a few messages so that none of our families are missing out on back-to-school messages and events. Thank you for listening.
First, you should have already received our summer newsletter and a mailing from me in the last few weeks. **For any help logging in, please call 763-506-HELP.**
Next, our WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) mentorship and 7th grade orientation program at Anoka Middle School for the Arts Fred Moore campus is next week. WEB trains our 8th grade mentors and leaders to create a culture of acceptance and kindness in our school.
A reminder that our WEB orientation day for all 7th grade students is Wednesday, August 21 from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. If you live in the AMSA attendance area, you should have received bus route information in the mail so that your 7th grader can use our transportation to school for this WEB Day on their regular morning bus route. Otherwise, drop off is at door 1 or 11 at the Fred Moore Campus by 8:20 am.
Buses will run at the end of the WEB event at 12:00 from the Fred Moore Campus for both 7th grade students and 8th grade mentors.
Lastly, keep that newsletter handy as it contains lots of detailed information for you in addition to our AMSA website. Please do not hesitate to call us with any questions or concerns at 763-506-5000 for Fred Moore grade 7 & 8 or 763-506-4600 for Washington grade 6.
We are looking forward to seeing all our amazing families as we gear up for the new school year.
Go Cyclones.
Mr. Hagerty, Principal AMSA
