Breaking the 31 year old record for most wins in a season. This record was previously set by Chad Jenkins and Ben Smith (Carter Mischler's uncle) in 1993. CHOICES MATTER PRESENTS AT CARLISLE MIDDLE SCHOOL
Fletcher Cleaves was involved in a tragic car crash that left him paralyzed from the chest down due to a driver suspected of texting while behind the wheel. This traumatic incident caused him to lose his football scholarship but with faith, perseverance, and a year of intense physical therapy, he re-enrolled in school and graduated from The University of Memphis with a degree in Computer Science. Now as a professional motivational speaker, Fletcher has shared his testimony of overcoming adversity, safe driving, importance of education, and faith-based living with ESPN, College Game-Day, and over 700 high schools, colleges, and businesses. Fletcher is also a world traveler obtaining the nickname “The Wheelchair Nomad”. He travels to many countries living life to the fullest while also bringing awareness to accessibility issues in the travel industry. To many, his crash seemed like the end of a young man’s promising future, but on the contrary, it became the prologue to his destiny.
Thank you Fletcher, for sharing your story with our students!

Reading Comes to Life at Sullivan Elementary
Ancient Civilizations
What an amazing experience for 2nd graders at Sullivan Elementary School! They had the pleasure of welcoming April Cox from the Sullivan Library yesterday for an Ancient Asian Civilization Unit. She taught students about where fans were first made, their materials, and their historical uses. The best part? Students created their own fans and learned a simple fan dance! A huge thank you to April for her dedication and hard work!
Pollination
Sullivan Elementary's kindergarten classes are buzzing with excitement about the importance of bees in pollination! Thanks to local beekeeper Jill Snyder, our SES little learners got an unforgettable hands-on experience.
Farming
SES kindergartners have been diving into the amazing world of plants and how they grow! A huge shoutout to Mrs. Arika Nicol's father (Rich Cole) for bringing his tractor and crops for an incredible hands-on lesson! The kids had a blast learning about nature.
Tea Party
After finishing The Wind in the Willows, SES 3rd graders celebrated with a delightful afternoon tea party! Everyone looked their best and practiced exceptional manners. What a fantastic way to bring the story to life!
MENINGITIS B VACCINE-UPDATED GUIDELINES
Important Update for Seniors & Parents!
The Sullivan County Health Department has shared updated guidelines on meningitis B vaccinations. The new protocol states that the 2nd dose must now be administered 6 months after the 1st dose, instead of the previous 1-month interval. This change could significantly impact seniors planning to attend colleges that require the Men B vaccine. It is essential for students to receive their 1st dose promptly to ensure they meet enrollment deadlines. Let’s ensure our students are informed and prepared.
