Baseball Donation
We received a $25,000 donation from the Arvest Foundation/Arvest Bank for the Baseball Field Turf project. This significant contribution brings us closer to achieving our objective of installing a dual-purpose synthetic turf at the North Park's Baseball and Softball fields. For more information about the Baseball Field Turf project, click here.
"Arvest Foundation is honored to donate to the Monett R-1 School District. We are proud to be in the community and are passionate about our public school system. Arvest Bank cares about your mission of being student-focused and future-driven, and we trust the vision the BOE, Baseball Turf Project committee, City of Monett, and athletic directors have for the baseball fields. We are delighted to have our name associated with the home dugout on such a state-of-the-art complex that will draw participants and spectators from around the region." - Arvest Foundation
We wholeheartedly thank Arvest Bank for their support and belief in our community. Their generosity is not just a donation; it's an investment in our students, athletes, and the future of our sports facilities.
We LOVE Teachers -Arvest Bank
Let's give a BIG round of applause to Travis Stokes and Misty Calhoun at the Monett Middle School for receiving the We LOVE Teachers award from Arvest Bank! This generous contribution is a game-changer for our MMS Robotics Club.
Mr. Stokes and Mrs. Calhoun plan to use the funds to register for robotics events and purchase more robot parts. Every year brings new challenges and tasks, meaning they'll always need fresh parts for the robots to tackle these exciting new objectives.

In Monett, we honor our Parents as Teachers program 📚 for providing parents with the essential tools and resources to support their children's early learning journey.
A BIG thank you 🙏 to Melanie Hills and Cathy Semerad for their dedication and leadership in our Parents as Teachers program!

Developmental Screenings
The Monett Early Childhood Center PAT program offers developmental screenings for children younger than preschool. Parents may have little ones screened as early as three months.
This is a wonderful opportunity to understand where your baby/toddler is developmentally. Most screenings at this age involve a parent questionnaire, making it a collaborative effort for your child's well-being.
For more information and to schedule an early screening, please call the MECC office, 417-354-2168.
