📦 Trivia Bowl Requests - Gift Card Request

We are asking for your help with The 10th Annual Rock Canyon Trivia Bowl, which is run through Seminar classes and will begin on November 7th. The school championship consists of four grade-level champions and will be broadcast on RCTV on Tuesday, December 10th. A link for you to watch it live remotely will be available on the RCHS website.

We hope you can help us fill the Championship Cup with 30 gift cards of $10 each for the winning team. They can be from any restaurant, Starbucks, Target, etc. If you can donate Please sign-up here

Please drop off gift cards marked “Trivia Bowl” at security or have your student drop them off with Karen Brankin in the main office by December 5th. THANK YOU very much for your help as we embark on this hotly contested competition and fun RCHS tradition!

🎁 Rock Canyon Gift Card Delivery Service - Now Open for the Holidays

The RC Boys Basketball program is sponsoring the RC Holiday Gift Card Delivery Service again this year. This is not a fundraiser, but offered as a way to give back and show support for our school. Our hope is this service provides a convenient option for families to recognize Rock Canyon teachers and staff for all of their hard work and dedication to our students.

This delivery service allows families to donate money toward gift cards for RC teachers and staff members along with an optional personalized message. The recipients then choose exactly what gift cards they would like to receive with the contributions made to them. Customized gift card packages will be delivered during Finals Week in December.

Don't miss this opportunity to recognize our amazing teachers and staff and wish them all a very happy holiday season!

🍁 Fall Finals Schedule

⛅ Weather Delays & Closures

When there is a closure

All DCSD buildings are closed, and activities, sports, BASE programs, and facility rentals are cancelled.

Where are delays and closures posted?

In the event of a delay or closure, the information will be posted on the DCSD website.

We will also post updates on the DCSD Facebook and Twitter accounts, the DCSD mobile app, and on local media outlets.
We will also send an email and text message to our staff and families.

When there is a 90-minute delay

When DCSD is on a 90-minute delay, all schools begin 90-minutes after regular start times.

Bus routes are also delayed by 90-minutes, so students should plan to be picked up one and a half hours later than normal. DCSD before school care (BASE) also begins 90-minutes later than normal.
Dismissal times remain the same.
