Reminders
- Please ensure that your child arrives at school on time each day and is equipped with all necessary materials for learning. School begins at 7:30am and 8:30am on Wednesday Late Starts.
- Encourage your child to engage in daily reading and review homework assignments regularly.
- Remember to send your child to school with a refillable water bottle. Staying hydrated throughout the day is essential for optimal learning and health.
- We kindly remind families to ensure their young students come prepared with a spare set of clothes in their backpacks or to leave in their cubby in the event of an accident.
Substitute Paras Needed
If you or someone you know would be interested in being a paraeducator substitute at our school, please click the link to apply. Paraeducators work with students directly, help in classrooms, provide reading and math interventions, cover the library, teach art and supervise recess.
Science Fair
Our annual Science Fair is scheduled for April 10th, and we can't wait to see the creative projects our students have been working on. Parents are welcome to attend and witness the budding scientists in action! More details are in this newsletter.
Kids Heart Challenge
We had 64 students registered online, had 24 families learn Hands-Only CPR and we raised $3,523 helping to save lives! Your generosity is making a real difference in promoting heart health and wellness. We are deeply grateful for your contribution.
Stay Connected
Don't miss out on any important updates or announcements! Follow us on social media and regularly check our school website for the latest news, events and resources.

One significant benefit of outdoor education is that it enhances children's physical health and overall well-being. Research suggests that exposure to outdoor environments encourages physical activity, which can lead to improved motor skills, coordination, and cardiovascular health. Additionally, being outdoors exposes children to natural elements like sunlight, fresh air, and green spaces, which can boost their immune systems and contribute to better overall health.
All Transition-to-Kindergarten families who are currently enrolled at CCA for next year have a secured spot in the program.
