I'm the Principal of ACES. Ask me Anything.
Got a question for our principal? Submit it to the AMA.
Do you have questions about ACES? About how we work, where we're headed, our policies and rules, how we support students, or anything else? During the month of November, submit your big or small questions to principal Blake Baird via the form below. We'll link to the answers in our December newsletter.
If you have a question about your student, or an urgent question, please reach out to Blake directly at (425) 366-3920 or email him at BairdBN@mukilteo.wednet.edu.
Around Campus
Club
Club students are having fun each week cooking, sewing, playing sports, and more. November plans include a Super Smash Bros tournament, pumpkin carving, gingerbread houses, and preparing games and treats for Family Night on Nov. 9.
Spirit Week
ACES students got into the swing of Spirit Week during the last full week of October. Check out their style:
Reptile Man
The Reptile Man from Monroe came for a Focus Assembly. Would you get up close and personal with an alligator?
Holiday Support
If your family could use extra support this holiday season, take a look at some of the resources below.
Thanksgiving:
The South Everett Mukilteo Rotary is again providing a limited number of Thanksgiving meals to district families. On the Sunday before Thanksgiving, they drop off a frozen turkey and trimmings for you to cook later in the week. We have a few spots left this year. If this would be helpful to your family, please reach out to our Family Liaison Julie Hills by calling (425) 366-3941 or emailing HillsJB@mukilteo.wednet.edu.
Holiday Gifts:
Winter Break Food Boxes:
Looking ahead to Winter Break, we know that it can be a lot when your kids are home for two weeks and not getting breakfast and lunch at school. ACES will be packing winter break food boxes, filled with non-perishable, easy-prep meals and snacks, that you can pick up just before the break. To sign up for a food box, fill out this form by Dec 4.
