Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year, JLA community. This is the first edition of the Jefferson Jewels, a weekly newsletter coming to your inbox or phone each week. Please read the newsletter for important updates about what is happening at JLA.
As you prepare for the first day of school on Tuesday, August 27th, we would like to share a few things with you.
- Start Date: Tuesday, August 27th
- Gates Open: 7:25 AM (Breakfast available)
- Students may enter and exit school on Euclid and Mira Mar. It is recommended that they use Mira Mar, as there is less traffic at the back of the school.
- Arrival Time: All students are expected to be on campus by 7:50 AM and on time for their classes.
- Uniform: Students should wear a sky blue or navy blue collared uniform shirt and Navy blue pants or blue jeans.
- Lunch: Please remind your student to remember their student ID number or lunch Pin number to expedite lunch service.
- Early Dismissal: Students will be dismissed at 1:10 PM.
- Regular Schedule Dismissal: Students will be dismissed at 2:40 PM Wednesday- Friday.
