“Where faith soars, minds excel, and futures ignite”
Week of March 29th- April 11th
2023-2024 School Year - Issue #29
Hello St. Michael- St. Clement Students and Families
As we embark on the beginning of the three most sacred days in our Faith, we reflect on the profound events that unfolded in the life of Jesus. From sharing a meal with his disciples at the Last Supper, to his anguished prayers in the garden, to his unjust arrest, trial, and cruel crowning with thorns. We remember the public shame of carrying his own cross and the excruciating act of being nailed to it. Through it all, Jesus showed boundless compassion by forgiving a sinner and ultimately surrendering his life to God.
As we observe a solemn Saturday, we look forward to the joyful celebration of Easter Sunday, commemorating his miraculous resurrection. I extend my heartfelt wishes for a truly blessed and joyous Easter to each and every one of you. May this extended break bring you much-needed rest and relaxation. For those traveling, may your journeys be safe, and for those hosting, may your conversations be filled with love and grace. Happy Easter!
Yours in Christ,
Matt Zipp
Over the Counter Medication
Baltimore County recently notified our school that in order to administer any over-the-counter medication to students a form must be completed for each student. This policy goes into effect immediately and will continue going forward. The form must be completed and signed by your child's pediatrician or family physician AND a parent/guardian. Once completed, the form MUST be returned to school. IMPORTANT: Over-the-Counter medications MUST be hand-delivered directly to the School Nurse by Parents/Guardians ONLY. Students are NOT permitted to self-carry over-the-counter medications. Our school nurse WILL NOT be able to administer any of the medications unless this is completed. Please click on the button below to download the Consent for Administration of Over-the-Counter Medications form. This form must be completed EVERY school year. If you have any questions, please contact the school office. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!

2024 Cheetah Chase
In just a few short weeks, it will be time for our annual Cheetah Chase. This year's race will take place on Friday, May 3rd. "Kick off" packets were sent home with students the end of February. Each packet included a letter explaining the race, an incentive flyer and a sheet for sponsor addresses. These addresses will be used to send sponsors a letter explaining the purpose of our race and asking if they would consider making a donation. A link will also be included in the sponsor letter if they would prefer to make a donation online. All sponsor letters will be mailed out after Easter Break so if you had addresses already completed from last year and have not sent back any changes, we will assume they are correct and will send letters to those addresses. If you missed the March 25th deadline, have no fear! You can still send in labels/addresses when we return from Easter Break or you can email them to Mrs. Kim Thayer at kthayer@stmstc.org. Thank you!
Our goal this year is to raise $15,000 to support technology upgrades for our school! If you have any questions regarding this year's race, please don't hesitate to contact Mrs. Kim Thayer at kthayer@stmstc.org or by calling the school office.

"Pray, Hope, Don't Worry"- St. Padre Pio
Saint Michael the Archangel isn't a saint, but rather he is an angel, and the leader of all angels and of the army of God. This is what the title "Archangel" means, that he is above all the others in rank.
Redemptorist preacher and reformer. Clement preached, built orphanages and schools, and established a vast Redemptorist presence in the city.
