Nederland Elementary Mountain Memo
March 7, 2025
*A Note from Principal Melamed*
March 7, 2025
Dear Nederland Community,
As we look toward the final two and half months of school we have A LOT to look forward to. First, I want to put on your radar a week of environmental awareness and stewardship. This fun and important week will take place the week of April 28th and includes field trips to Ecocycle, the Nederland transfer station, guest speakers, and more.
Also, the Maker Fair is coming up April 23rd! See the flier below for all the information. This will be a fun school wide event that will include a 5th grade science fair.
Also coming up is a Dines Out night at Chipotle on April 8th from 4-8 PM. This is at the Chipotle on 29th Street in Boulder. Stop by Chipotle on your way out of town and grab a burrito for dinner and support our PTA.
And of course I hope to see you this Friday evening at Kathmandu for Dines Out and live music by Mr. Kirk’s band The Piney Tops.
Finally a reminder that on Wednesday mornings there is no adult supervision until 8:30. Please do not drop your child off for early drop off before 8:30. Thank you.
That’s it for now. As always please feel free to reach out with any questions and have a wonderful weekend.
Best,
Caleb
