HES PTO November News

Can you believe we're already in November? It feels like just yesterday we were kicking off the school year, and yet, here we are- already celebrating how far we've come! From our incredible fall events to the countless hours you've put into supporting our teachers, staff and students, the impact of your dedication is wherever we look. We are so grateful to be part of such a warm, giving community. But we're not done yet! We've got more exciting goals to reach and events to look forward to in the coming months. Thank you for all you do for our kids and for making Herff such a special place. Let's keep making memories together!

What an amazing 2 weeks! Herff was filled with laughter and lessons! We hope everyone enjoyed the program and the children had a blast at the Glow Run! We are pending our results!!! As soon as we have it we will send out an update!

We had a beautiful Veterans Day at Herff! Thank you to all who participated and enjoyed the Veterans Day Breakfast! We learned a lot about our Herff Veterans! Thank you for your service and for protecting our country! We love and honor you all.

Pet Rescue Drive

We are collecting pet rescue items to donate to Charming Pet Rescue.

All donations will be presented to Charming Pet Rescue during our December Donuts with grownups Event!

Drop off items in bins located in your students nest!

Family Fitness Night! 6:00pm-6:45pm

Every year, the HES PTO purchases gift certificates for our Herff Staff for them to purchase pies. We will be doing that again this year, but we will not be holding a fundraiser.

This year, we changed things up a bit. We will be partnering with Mrs. Resop and any student that is in school 96% of the time between now and November 21st will be entered into a drawing to pie the coaches on FRIDAY NOVEMBER 22nd!

On Friday, November 22nd from 1pm-2:45pm PTO will be coming around with the Treat Trolley for all of the students. This was the reward for collecting over 2000 items for Love Kendall County Kids in September!

Please know, we have reached out to all of the teachers to verify how they would like to handle the treat trolley for their classes. Ensuring inclusiveness and safety for everyone. We are so excited to dance and visit each classroom!
