Johnny is such a happy kid and he makes everyone around him smile and enjoy his presence.
Johnny is always happy and smiles and is friendly to those around him. He speaks to others and is a joy to see each day
Johnny is a highlight of my day each day. He is always happy to be at school and has an infectious smile!
7th Grade Girl: Zyriah Singleton -
Zyriah is a gem; an outstanding student who thinks deeply and adds positivity to my room.
Zyriah gets along with everyone, makes everyone feel welcome and treats them with respect!
Zyriah is also an excellent student, one who takes pride in her work! Rocking it in the classroom, and District Champ in XC!!
8th Grade Boy: Michael Davis -
Always is present to class and on time.
Works hard always in class and has a good attitude.
He comes to class everyday with a great attitude. During the games in class he always thinks of others first.
Every class I am in, Michael participates and collaborates in class. He wears a smile on his face and is friendly to those around him
8th Grade Girl: Daniela Lopez -
Daniela is a wonderful young lady who is very quiet, works very hard at her grades.
She really cares about her grades, she strives to get the highest grades she can.
She is very polite and I enjoy having her in my class.

Homerun Heroes are voted on by the staff. This week's Homerun Hero was Mr. Harvell.
Mr. Harvell "went to bat" for us so that we could all be included in the staff photo for our blue ribbon recognition. We always feel valued and seen in the HJH family. Mr. Harvell always has our backs. That's why HJH is the best campus. "Always imitated, never duplicated!!
Mr. Harvell is the foundation for the success of our staff and students at HJH. He always pushes us as staff to make a difference in the students' lives each and every day.
Mr. Harvell exemplifies the qualities of an exceptional principal through his unwavering commitment and diligence toward both our students and staff at HJH. Under Mr. Harvell’s leadership, the staff at HJH values the essence of teamwork to make a better place for our students each day.
