Important Updates:
*Remind your student(s) to complete two IReady my path lessons each week per reading and math.
*We are currently working on positive character traits during our morning meetings.
- Students need to make sure they are practicing the 3 R’s (responsibility, respectful, and ready to learn).
- Extra focus needs to be placed on being respectful of peers.
*Charge chromebooks nightly and be prepared for class with all materials.
Seventh Grade
Hello everyone! This is Mr. Black, 7th grade science teacher, writing for the 7th grade hall this month. All classes are working hard to make this an amazing 2nd nine weeks. In class, we have just finished up our section on Matter and are moving into our topic on Chemical Reactions and Photosynthesis. This will take us some time to get through, so students, please be ready to learn everyday you come into class! Parents and Guardians, please do not hesitate to email us with any questions and concerns you may have!
Eighth Grade
On October 23, J-E-T Middle School hosted an outdoor Revolutionary War Living History Event. Students from across the district visited stations to learn from reenactors about life during Revolutionary War times. One of the reenactors even studied under Dr. Mo last year!

Get lost in the library! Plan to join your J-E-T student at our Thanksgiving meal celebration for a vocabulary centered escape room-type of experience, "The Thanksgiving Dinner Dilemma."
The library is selling 12oz bottles of Savannah Bee Company honey for $15 each. This fundraiser will help support the return of our Bee and Pollinators Education Program. These jars make sweet gifts! Buy yours today!
Landra Jennings, author of Wand and our Battle of the Books book, The Whispering Fog will be visiting students at J-E-T Middle School on January 10th. She will discuss her books and offer a writing workshop!
